Class Organisation

Rushcombe First School is a Dorset Local Authority school situated in Corfe Mullen in the East of Dorset within close proximity to Poole and Bournemouth.

We are a two-form entry school for children aged 4 – 9 years.

Our classes are identified by tree names and are organised as follows:

Foundation (age 4-5): Ash class and Oak class.

Year 1 (age 5-6): Elm class and Pine class.

Year 2 (age 6-7): Chestnut class and Willow class.

Year 3 (age 7-8): Beech class and Maple class.

Year 4 (age 8-9): Hawthorn class and Rowan class.
